Veneers For Crooked Teeth in Colorado Springs CO area

With restorations such as porcelain veneers, patients with imperfections in their smiles can achieve a more attractive smile quickly and easily. Dr. Mark H. Wright and his team in Colorado Springs, Colorado, are pleased to offer these restorations for those seeking ways to enhance the smile’s appearance and improve their self-esteem and confidence.

What are porcelain veneers?

Dr. Mark H. Wright describes porcelain veneers as facings made of porcelain material that cover a natural tooth. They are created to match the patient’s current smile to ensure they blend in beautifully and look as natural as possible when bonded in place. These thin shells are a great way to address many imperfections that may be present on the anterior or front teeth and can last many years with proper care.

Can porcelain veneers be used for crooked teeth?

Yes! Crooked teeth and many other imperfections can be addressed with the use of veneers. Veneers can cover:

  • Stained or permanently stained teeth
  • Chipped/broken/cracked teeth
  • Unusually short or worn teeth
  • Misaligned teeth
  • Gaps between teeth

Why do most patients choose veneers over dental bonding treatment?

Dental bonding uses a composite resin to provide coverage to a tooth and is an alternative to porcelain veneers. However, porcelain veneers have several benefits that cannot be obtained with dental bonding. Porcelain veneers are stain-resistant and long-lasting. Even though they are more expensive than dental bonding, they are an excellent investment in one’s smile to provide long-term repairs to the teeth at the front of the smile.
